AUXILIARY COMMITTEES



Chairman/Co-Chairman

Preside over monthly auxiliary meetings

Oversee committees

Meet with AEDD liaison monthly


Historian

Take photographs at events, clip articles about AEDD, and organize a scrapbook about the history of AEDD and the auxiliary


Donations/Sponsorships

Secure private and/or corporate donations and sponsorships as necessary for fundraising events and special projects


Public Relations

Oversee advertising in print, television and radio to promote AEDD events and help build public awareness about AEDD


Food and Beverage

Coordinate food and beverages for fundraising and client events.


Decorating

Plan decorating for fundraising events and other special events as needed


Young Professionals/Special Events

Build a relationship between AEDD and the young professional organizations in the Little Rock/North Little Rock area.  Organize special events promoting AEDD to increase awareness and raise funds for AEDD through these organizations.  Hold events that appeal to the 'Millennials'.  If you haven’t read up on this group born between 1980 and 2000, you should.  They are our future targets for philanthropy and are already involved in volunteering, donating, etc.


Client Incentive Store/Caring Closet

Collect items for the iStore (Incentive Store) inventory.  Organize and price items in the store located at the Lacy Landers Center.  Collect, sort, size, and organize clothes for the Caring Clothes Closet at the Lacy Landers Center.  These projects benefit the adult clients, promote daily work attendance, and provide clothes to those in need


Children’s Therapy Garden

Assist the school with maintaining a flower and vegetable garden at the Children’s Learning Centers in North Little Rock


Client Special Events
Assist the Adult Center and Children’s Preschool with special events for the clients


Event Staffing

All auxiliary members will be asked to help staff events as necessary
